Monthly Weight Loss with Pictures

It's that time again. This month has flown by, mostly due to moving. Just like I figured, with moving and getting settled in, I only got to the gym like five or less times this month. That being said, I still managed to lose 8 lbs exactly. YAY!

Moving and getting settled in is a workout .. that number is proof. So, that's 58 lbs lost so far. Praise God! This month I have really started to notice the changes ... a lot. It's very exciting! I'm so blessed to have such wonderful family and friends supporting me on this journey. It means so much to me; thank you so much.

The Biggest Loser started again which I am very happy about. The Biggest Loser and Extreme Makeover Weight Loss Edition motivate me so much! I can't wait for Extreme Makeover Weight Loss Edition to start again, too.

October is going to be another busy month. My mother-in-law is coming to visit for a week on the 10th and then on the 22-31st I'll be in Toronto, Canada for my friend's wedding. I'll have lots to blog about this month, including the house pictures I promised, which I plan on posting this weekend.

Sidenote: Brad and I saw the movie "Courageous" today and it was awesome. I highly recommend it and advise taking tissues.

Anyways, on to the pictures. :)

Happy Fall!

Yesterday was the first day of fall. EXCITING! :-D I wanted to post yesterday but I was way too busy. I posted What I Love About Fall on the 7th because I couldn't contain my excitment. I'm such a fall girl. Every year since we've lived in the Smokies (we moved here 10/01/08), we've gone for a beautiful walk/drive through the mountains. It's beyond beautiful.

Randomness: Brad and I were in JCPenny last night and I had him try on this adorable hat thing. I was laughing so hard that I was crying. Now I know where our little boy, Oopsie, gets his good looks from. Ha! :-D

Have a blessed weekend!

Slap-Wore-Out

Yep, that's me right about now. I have been non-stop for what seems like a lifetime. Well, ok ... not a lifetime but you get the point. The whole moving process really stinks. I wish I could just snap my fingers and everything be done. We're slowly making this house our home. We still have SO much left to do.

Monday we're going shopping with my huge "need to get" list. Plus, we have to go grocery shopping. So, that should be a packed day of fun. NOT! Haha. We have about 15 or so boxes left in the garage but most of them are boxes with stuff that we store. So, we just have to find a place to put them. All we have is our guest bedroom closet (and garage but I don't want to store anything in there unless I have to) and it will have to be a miracle if it will fit.

All of that being said, I'm hoping that two weeks at the most and we'll have everything we need to get done. At the end of the day, seeing the beautiful mountain view from my bedroom window with my hunnies snuggled up next to me makes it all worth it.

Sidenote: Weight-loss wise, this month is going pretty well. I haven't been to the gym in days, but I've definitely been getting my workouts here at home. I'm looking forward to getting back to the gym, though, and getting back into my daily routine.

Now a busy day of putting some more stuff away and then I have to babysit tonight. The fun never stops! :)

Hope you're all having a blessed weekend!

Oh-so-busy!

Ahh! I've been so busy getting ready for our move on Thursday. We're getting our keys tomorrow at 6:00 PM. The plan is to clean tomorrow night, move over some stuff and set it up on Wednesday and then Thursday is moving day. I know I'll be super busy for at least a week after that just trying to put everything where I want it and getting settled. I'm ready to be settled in. Living out of boxes is no fun.

Randomness: In case you didn't know, I'm a childcare provider. Yesterday my Jada Bug (a precious little girl I babysit) made me an adorable book about all of the fun we have together. It was too cute not to share. It melted my heart! I'll treasure it forever. I love my job. :)

Fall is my favorite season and it's right around the corner; I'm so excited! The beauty God has placed all around us just blows me away! He is amazing. Thank you, Lord! :)

Here are some of my favorites things about fall:

The BEAUTIFUL, vibrant colors and cool, crisp air
...  especially here in the Smoky Mountains!

Warm and cozy candle scents, which are my favorite year-round :)

Iced Pumpkin Spice Latte from Starbucks

Snuggling up into a soft, warm blanket, hoodie, sweater, etc.

All of the cute owl decor you see everywhere

Sonic's Pumpkin Pie Shake. If you haven't tried this, you must.
It's only around for about 30 days. So, act fast; It's amazing!

Warm-smelling Bath & Body Works hand soaps

Thanksgiving ... I love Thanksgiving!

Pumpkin pie

Apple crumb pie

Well, that about covers all of my favorite things about fall. I know there's more but those are at the top of the list for me. I hope this blog made you as excited about fall as I am!

Packing

Hellooo! I just wanted to post to let you know all I haven't stopped blogging. I've had a couple of people ask me why I haven't posted for a bit. I haven't written since the 31st because I have been super busy getting prepared to move.

Today, Brad and I started packing and we got a whole bunch done. We're not actually moving out of our current place until the 15th but our new landlord is giving us the keys any day now to start moving some stuff over before we move all the big stuff on the 15th. So, we'll be doing quite a bit of setting up at our new house before the 15th. Needless to say, I'm going to be really busy this month. So, I won't be posting as often as I'd like to.

In other news, we've been getting tons of rain from the remnants of Tropical Storm Lee. Before Saturday afternoon, we hadn't had rain in a long time and all of the grass was brown. I've been enjoying the rain and watching the grass turn green again. It's also brought a lot cooler temps. We've been in the low to mid 70s. I'm very much loving that!

Which brings me to another point ... I am SO excited! Only 17 more days until my favorite season begins! I can't even begin to tell you how much I love fall. I will definitely be posting a blog about all of the things I love about fall. So, stay tuned.

Speaking of fall, do you like my new blog page? My amazing friend, Emily, put everything I wanted together for me since I don't understand how to do Blogger design editing. Thank you again, Emmy! I love you! :)
