Monthly Weight Loss With Pictures

Hey, guys!

Sorry I only posted a couple of times this month. I have been crazy-busy! My mother-in-law, Sandy, has been here since the 23rd and we've been busy doing things together. Not to mention, I've had a lot of childcare jobs lately.

First of all, I just wanted to tell everyone how much your kind words meant to me on my weight-loss blog last month. I had an overwhelming reponse of nothing but sweet words. Thank you! I also realized that I was wrong on my last blog. My biggest pant size was a 26, not a 24. I went back and changed it once I noticed. As of this month I fit into a 14 perfectly (the capris in the picture are a 14). Exciting! :-D

This morning I weighed in at 191.6 which means I lost 6 lbs this month and 105.4 lbs total.

PS: I get asked all the time what I'm doing to lose the weight, so I'm going to write up a little blog soon telling everyone what I've been doing.

I hope you all have a blessed week!

Sushi!

Brad and I went to the sushi-making class yesterday that I was telling you about in a previous blog; it was fun! Brad actually tried his sushi and liked it (he took out the cucumber). We made the California roll and the shrimp roll (California roll but with shrimp). Those are probably two of my least favorite rolls (I don't care for cucumber in my sushi) but they are still delicious, I'd just prefer something else. I'm more a Philly roll (smoked salmon and cream cheese) kind of a girl. Plus, sushi just isn't sushi to me without a big heaping pile of seaweed salad and cup of eel sauce. :-P

It's nice to know how to make sushi but I doubt I'll ever make it. I get some of the best sushi I've ever had in my life (and I've had PLENTLY) once a month. I have to limit myself or I'd gain 500 pounds. It's only $10 for ALL YOU CAN EAT and they have 40 or more different kinds on the buffet. It's so fresh and there's such a variety. You can't make it for that cheap!

Here are our plates. I have to say, Brad's sushi came out better. I was in a rush because I was ready to eat mine. LOL!

Homemade Wreath

Hi, everyone! I just wanted to share with you all my cute little wreath I made. I already have wreaths for fall and winter but I was searching for a spring/summer wreath (I don't like naked doors) and couldn't find one I liked that wasn't at least $35 to $50. So, I went to Hobby Lobby and bought what I needed and made my own for less than $15. I'm very happy with how it came out. :)

I hope everyone is having a great spring so far! The weather here has been absolutely beautiful! I'm enjoying all of the walks I've been able to go on with Brad and Oopsie.

Until next time,
